Distrackt Records welcome Duvz into the DR family with his Dichotomy EP. The Irish label continues its 2021 momentum following big releases from Angelo Currao and Brotherhood of the Wolf.

A local hero on the Dublin underground scene Duvz holds down a residency on Irish electronic music radio institution Phever FM and runs events under his Platform Dublin brand. As a producer Duvz announced himself on the international scene winning the Soma x Splice producer challenge in 2019 with his excellent track “Enough”.

Dichotomy features three original tracks that reside on the darker edges of EBM & techno.

A1. Petrichor: Hypnotic minimalism via a looping synth stab creating tension that builds throughout, driving Petrichor along.

A2. Industry: Dark tones and textures create the backdrop of Industry. Deep synths punch through to add some colour with the vocals providing societal undertones.

B1. Detachment: A rolling industrial techno track with polyrhythmic siren synths and rolling toms.
